It’s that time of year again where we all reflect on the past 12 months and dream of what we want to make or change for the following year. This year has been huge for my family and I couldn’t be more proud of what we have all accomplished. We aren’t the type of household to make new years resolutions, because we try to strive towards that all year-long.
I think that it is important for everyone to not only reserve this one time a year to better ourselves, but to attempt to make it a full-time job.
I can be the first to admit that I am not the greatest with this task, and for that reason, my new years resolution is to challenge myself to work on just one new thing each month. Have you ever heard the saying that it takes one month to develop a habit? Well, that is going to be my goal, to spend each month developing a new healthy, mindful habit that I can hopefully adopt for years to come.
Below is a downloadable worksheet that I created. It is very simple and very basic. each month is outlined for you to choose one habit you want to adopt, how you will adopt it, and a column to reflect at the end of the month on your results.
You can use this spreadsheet for work, home, personal matters, the options are endless. Some examples that I have chosen for the next year are to, adopt a schedule for household chores, workout 4times a week, keep my email cleaned out each day at work, ect… The options are endless!
